The importance of building reinforcement through the tropical storm in the Philippines

Jan. 02, 2018

Recently, the Philippines suffered a tropical storm "Libra" attack, which caused many people dead. And the storm triggered flood, resulting in the collapse of houses, landslides and other natural disasters. Mankate popularized many strengthening points of typhoon days with you this summer.  But seeing the current storm raging, we still feel it necessary to emphasize the importance of building reinforcement once again to avoid the repeat of the tragedy.

In the tropical and subtropical regions, weather conditions are changeable. So we should spend more money on the houses reinforcement. For typhoon and debris flow areas, the most importamt part of the housing reinforcement is to be waterproof. Many of Manckate's products, such as carbon fiber cloth and anchorage adhesive, have good water-repellent effect and can work well in wet and damp Southern areas nd wet flood zones.

Secondly, we should reinfroce the structure of the house. If there is a crack, we should repair it. You can use Mankate carbon fiber cloth and carbon fiber glue to prevent cracks in the disaster continuing to increase. Once the crack increases, the probability of damage to the house is growing geometricly. For structures that have been damaged, such as beams and columns, we need to redo the rebar reinforcement to the building. And we use the Mankate waterproofing anchorage glue. Within 72 hours before the typhoon comes, we can also use Mankate anchorage glue. It has strong anchoring power, no swelling stress and small spacing and margins.

Tropical storm is not terrible. What is terrible is that we do not pay enough attention. We dont want to mend until the tragedy happens. If you are interested in Mankate carbon fiber cloth reinforcement and anchorage glue products, please contact us immediately.
