There are several reasons for the occurrence of cracks in the cast-in-place slabs. The most common cracks are caused by uneven settlement of the foundation, strength of concrete, plate thickness and other factors, which we call stress cracks. Some are caused by the temperature or cement quality problems. We call them non-stressed cracks.
For the stress cracks, we need to first cut the crack, pour the epoxy resin into the seam with pressure and close it. And then we paste it with carbon cloth to reinforce it. When pasting the carbon cloth, we should pay attention to the single crack. In addition to pasting along the seam, but also in the vertical direction of the seam, we should also paste the well-shaped to the intersecting multi-seams. The spacing should be the same as the cloth width. (The appropriate width of cloth is about 300mm)
For non-stress cracks, if there are cracks only on the surface, you can clean up the cracks. After being dry, we use epoxy resin to fill the seam or brush the surface and seal it. During the construction, if we find cracks before the final condensate, we can wipe it.
