With the rapid development of transportation and economy, the technology applied in buidling reinforcement becomes more mature. Among carbon fiber reinforcement, steel bonding reinforcement, fiberglass reinforcement and so other reinforcements, carbon fiber reinforcement and steel bonding reinforcement are the most widely used and also the most popular. So why people are more likely to choose both of them for construction reinforcement?
1. Carbon fiber reinforcement
The principle of carbon fiber reinforcement is to preimpregnate carbon fiber sheet by epoxy resin adhesive, then using epoxy bonding adhesive to paste the reinforced carbon fiber sheet along the tensed area of concrete, which enables the reinforced pasty material and reinforced concrete to bear the force together, increasing shearing force, strength, rigidity and crack resistance and extensibility.
Its advantages:
1. Efficient and high strength; 2. Corrosion resistance & extensibility; 3. Light weight and no add to structural dimensions and self weight; 4. Wide range of applications; 5. Easy construction; 6. Can be rolled and cut, approved for structure in various shapes.
2. Bonding steel reinforcement
Bonding steel reinforcement is also called bonding steel plate for reinforcement. It means that bonding steel plate on the concrete by epoxy resin adhesive, enabling steel plate and concrete to become as an integrity. Therefore, the added high tensile strength of steel plate can increase the bearing load and rigidity of components.
Its advantages:
1. Increase the strength of original structure, and prolong the time of breakage emergency; 2. Bonding steel reinforcement costs less than other reinforcement; 3. Steel plate is not easy to be damaged and easy to be constructed.
Both of two reinforcements can be chosed on the basis of particular situations. By the way, chosing the reinforcement materials with high quality is aslo important to the construction, if you have any interest, you can click to here to find what you want!
