Steel bonding reinforcement and steel-encasing strengthening are the common building reinforcement. Though two reinforcements adopt the same principle, there are many distinctions between them. Now let NJMKT introduce to you!
1. Steel-bonding reinforcement:
According to design and requirement of reinforcement, using construction structural adhesive to paste steel plate and shape steel to the surface of building structure, enabling the bonded steel plate and the original structure to bear the load together, which will increase the rigidity and strength of original structure, and the capacity of load bearing, shear resistance, seismic resistance.
Steel-bonding reinforcement is applied to the reinforcement of tension member which is bearing static force and in normal humidity.
2. Steel-encasing reinforcement
It means shape steel-encasing reinforcement of concrete beam-column. it can be constructed easily, but it will consume a larger quantity of steel. It can be used when increase of sectional dimension of the original structure is not allowed, while incredibly increase of the bearing capacity of reinforced concrete is required.
The major difference between steel-encasing reinforcement and steel-bonding reinforcement is: welding should be made during the construction of steel-encasing. Steel-bonding reinforcement is used to bond steel plate for beam reinforcement, while steel-encasing reinforcement is used to column reinforcement.
After the description, maybe you can be a little bit familiar with two reinforcement methods. No matter steel-bonding reinforcement or steel-encasing reinforcement, steel bonding adhesive is needed. NJMKT steel bonding adhesive abounds in excellent thixotropy, non-drip for horizontal, vertical and overhead applications, aging resistance, chemical corrosion resistance and water proof.
