Divided into two parts, the first one is the concrete surface
The concrete surface should be cut off from the powder layer, grease stains and dirt, and then polished by an angle grinder to remove the surface layer of 1mm to 2mm thick. The larger depression is repaired and leveled with leveling glue. After grinding, the dust is blown off with compressed air, then the cotton is dipped in acetone. Wipe the surface and leave it to dry before use. After the surface treatment of the concrete, the chemically anchored holes on the front surface of the bonded steel and the fixed steel plate shall be recorded on site.
The surface of the second steel plate
The bonding surface of the steel plate shall be derusted and roughened. The steel plate does not rust or slightly rust and can be sanded with sandblasting, emery cloth or flat grinding wheel until metallic luster appears. The greater the roughness, the better. The graining should be perpendicular to the direction of the steel plate. If necessary, wipe it with absorbent cotton and acetone. Wait until it is completely dry. If the steel plate is seriously corroded, it must be soaked with moderate hydrochloric acid for 20 minutes to remove the rust layer, then rinse with lime water to neutralize the acid ions, and then use a flat grinding wheel to remove the grain.
