What chemical anchors are used in the steel structures?

Aug. 24, 2018

Chemical anchors are used as a fastener in many engineering fields. With the continuous development of technology, chemical anchor bolts are also iteratively upgraded, and the types of products are more and more standardized. A variety of different types of chemical anchors are used in different scenarios to play their roles. So what kind of chemical anchor should be used as the steel structure that is used more and more now?

The steel structure is a structure composed of steel materials and is one of the main types of building structures. The structure is mainly composed of beam steel, steel column and steel truss and steel plates. Therefore, high-strength special inverted cone type chemical anchors with larger diameters are generally used.

From the construction status of high-strength chemical anchors, most of them are used in curtain wall construction. The anchor bolt diameter is about 12, and there is no technical problem. However, the anchor bolt used in the steel structure is often regarded as an important node of the main structure, whether it is designing pull or construction quality, both of them have high requirements. Due to the large bearing capacity requirements of the post-embedded parts, the specifications of the chemical anchors used on the frame beams and columns are generally determined according to the cross-section of the in-situ concrete members and the drawing performance requirements of the high-strength chemical anchor materials.

Therefore, the quality of chemical anchors also plays a key role. The special inverted conical chemical anchors produced by Nanjing Mankate are resistant to high temperature and can be welded. The bolts types are M12--24, grades 5.8, 8.8, 10.9 and 12.9. They have been widely used in Shanghai Disneyland and Nanjing Metro No.4. Line, Suzhou Metro, Kunyu Expressway and other projects.
