Why do we use 300 grams of carbon fiber cloth for the building reinforcement?

For the 300 g carbon fiber cloth that is usually manually pasted, the mass per unit area is g300 g/m2, and usually 300 g carbon fiber cloth is used mostly. Isn't it the thicker the manufacturing, the better the reinforcement effects?

In fact, of course not. Why should we strictly control the mass per unit area of 300 grams carbon fiber cloth? Mainly because when the fabric is too thick, the room temperature curing structural adhesive will be difficult to infiltrate and penetrate, and it is easy to seriously affect the bonding performance of the carbon fiber composite due to lack of glue inside the fiber or uneven distribution of the glue, resulting in the structure being reinforced not guaranteed. So this also confirms an old saying that things will develop in the opposite direction when they become extreme.
