How to do the anchorage glue reinforcement at high temperature?

Recently, another Chinese-made building has been printed on foreign currency. It is the new headquarters building of Kuwait Central Bank. Accepting this project in Kuwait can be regarded as a high-honored challenge. So even if there is any difficulty, China  infrastructure engineering team will also work hard to complete. The temperature in Kuwait from June to September often exceeds 50°C, which will cause great difficulties for the construction of the entire project. Especially when doing the planting bars reinforcement, ordinary planting adhesive tends to shrink too much at high temperature. And the temperature resistance is not good. Tensile strength can not meet the project requirements. So today we want to tell you about the use of Nanjing Mankate anchorage glue at high temperature.

Mankate anchorage adhesive has good temperature resistance and can be used in long-term environments of 135°. Short-term high temperatures can reach up to 200°. At the same time it is acid and alkali resistant, moist, heat and aging resistant. The life expectancy can be up to 50 years. It has good soldering resistance and can be directly welded on the steel bar. Do not worry about the decreasing of the strength after colloid melting or even colloidal on fire. Mankate anchorage adhesive almost has no shrinkage during the curing process. Even if in Kuwait such a high temperature, it will not shrink due to the high temperature and drought.


The construction of Nanjing Mankate anchorage adhesive is convenient and it doesn't matter if the hole is wet. The specific operation steps are as follows:

1, drilling the holes

Drilling the holes according to the dimensions required by the design drawings.


2, clearing the holes

Using a high-pressure water gun to blow out the mud in the hole, and then using a special brush to brush off the loose concrete on the surface of the hole wall, and using a high-pressure water gun to clean the hole and keep it aside.


3,injecting the glue

Putting the glue bottle on the injection nozzle (mixer) of the MT500 anchorage glue. Checking whether the injection nozzle has a spiral tube, otherwise discard it. It is forbidden to unplug the spiral pipe in the injection nozzle at the scene; the glue bottle should be equipped with a special glue gun. Evenly squeeze out of the glue, the first three guns of glue should be discarded. Inserting he injection nozzle into the bottom of the hole. The normal amount of glue injection should be 2/3 of the hole volume. After injecting the glue, replace a new glue bottle and also a new  injection nozzle. The unfinished glue will be removed the injection nozzle and the glue bottle mouth will be wiped clean. The nut can be tightened and used again.


4, planting bars

After injecting the glue, slowly twist the rebar or ribbed rebar into the bottom of the hole in a clockwise direction. A little glue overflows will be better. Wipe off excessive glue that has overflowed.


5, maintenance

Allow the anchoring glue to cure naturally when left standing. The curing time is based on the temperature. Refer to the MT500 anchorage glue curing schedule, during  the maintenance, do not rotate and tap the screw.
